Until the East Sea dries up and Baekdu Mountain withers away,
God watch over us, long live our nation!

Like armoured pines of Namsan,
come wind or frost, unchanging ever, be our resolute will.

In autumn's arching sky, high and cloudless,
be the radiant moon our spirit, steadfast, single and true.

With such will and spirit, allegiance to our country,
let us love, come grief, come gladness, this our land.

Rose of Sharon, thousand miles of magnificent rivers and mountains,
Guarded by her people, ever may Korea stand.
